New School Mission: Michelle Pho Elementary School
We are very proud to be announcing that we are building a new elementary school in rural area of Guatemala. This new school will be called the Michelle Pho Elementary School in honor of a dear friend to the ministry who passed away suddenly in 2018. Michelle was a kind, loving and passionate Canadian teacher who, along with her family, had a deep passion for helping children in Guatemala.
Our Feeding Center in Guatemala City is and continues to be our main program and this will not change, however, when God called us to this ministry we had also hoped to one day reach children with projects like this school in the rural areas of Guatemala.
Partner with us
Transforming Futures has secured 100% of the cost for the construction of the school, however, there are still plenty of needs that we are excited to reach out to our partners to help us with. We have created a catalogue of the remaining needs of the school. Can you help? Below are both individual donation items as well as exciting school room partnership opportunities!
We need a total of 175 desks, 7 teacher’s desk, 7 white boards, 9 bookshelves.

With this classroom partnership we will name the classroom after your organization, family/individual or someone special to you.
