Educational Support

Funded by Transforming Futures contributors, the Michelle Pho School opened in 2021. Located in the rural community of Pie del Cerro, the elementary school serves more than 170 students. It is also a space for community members to gather, vote, and receive health care. Built in honor of Michelle Pho, a Canadian teacher who passed away suddenly in 2018, the school is fully equipped with desks, whiteboards, and kitchen equipment.
