When a vulnerable teen turns 18 in an orphanage, many are forced to leave the only home they’ve ever known, often without skills, support, or a safe place to go. Our Orphan Transition Program supports these young adults during one of the most critical seasons of life.

Through job readiness training, life skills development, and spiritual guidance, we equip them to move forward with confidence, dignity, and a clear path toward independence.

Every teen we serve carries a story of resilience, growth, and hope. We share powerful real life journeys of the vulnerable teens and orphans whose lives have been transformed through mentorship, the love of Jesus and community support.

Transforming Futures uplifts Guatemala’s most vulnerable youth: orphans who have been abused or abandoned and children who live in extreme poverty. 

Transforming Futures, a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2019, equips teenage orphans in Guatemala with job skills and emotional support as they transition out of orphanages. In addition, we provide daily meals to hundreds of children living around one of Guatemala City’s largest garbage dumps. Transforming Futures Guatemala is officially registered with the Superintendence of Banks of Guatemala and complies with all regulations to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism, ensuring transparency and integrity in every aspect of our work.
