Dear founding families,
Thank you for supporting our vision to help hundreds of children living in poverty around the garbage dump of Guatemala City.
By the end of 2017, God made it very clear that the he wanted us to expand our feeding center to support other communities around the garbage dump. With his provision and your generosity we were able to open a second feeding center in January 2018, which is located in a community about 5 minutes from the original feeding center.
Our idea was to start feeding 100 children at that location however after opening day we realized that the need was much greater as so many more children showed up in need of a hot meal. Thankfully we were able to help and because of your generous donations we are now able to continue feeding an average of 145 children a day in our second location. Our prayer is that God can allow us to continue growing to more communities around the garbage dump that are in need.
A year and a half after opening our second location, it has become so clear to me that having feeding centers inside communities in the garbage dump is the way to ensure food for those who don’t have it and make it safer for the children that don’t live near our main location to receive it.

2 Feeding Centers are feeding 400 children and 18 older people in need of hot and nutritious meals.
After-school program: 15 children are now part of our after-school program to help them with their homework and keep them safe in our place.
