Board Members

President, Pablo Villagran

Pablo Villagrán is the founder and executive director of Transforming Futures Guatemala. Born and raised in Guatemala, he is passionate about empowering vulnerable people within his country. With a communications undergraduate degree and master’s degree in marketing, Pablo has worked with Guatemalan orphans and children living in poverty for many years. He left his job at the UN Refugee Agency in Guatemala to start Transforming Futures. Pablo has led numerous humanitarian missions, managed development projects, and crafted communications strategies.

Vice President, James Rachor

Dr. James M. Rachor serves as the vice president of Transforming Futures Guatemala and president of Transforming Futures Charitable Foundation US. A Christian with a heart to help the world’s less fortunate, Dr. Rachor has served on and directed dozens of mission trips and other faith-based relief projects in Guatemala. He has been married to Lucinda Rachor for 29 years and is the father of seven children, two of whom were adopted from Guatemala. Dr. Rachor has been a practicing dentist in Michigan for 30 years and graduated from the University of Michigan’s School of Dentistry. He is the president of dental companies and ministries, as well as the founder and director of multiple investment companies.

Secretary, Cinda Rachor

Cinda Rachor has been involved with the people of Guatemala since 2005. Every year, Cinda spends several weeks leading mission teams in the country and passionately pursues ways that she and her teams can support and empower communities. She holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and nursing from the University of Michigan. She is the mother of seven children and resides in Michigan.

Treasurer, Richard Berry

Rick Berry serves as Transforming Futures’ treasurer and has worked with the organization since its inception. He is an entrepreneur, software engineer, and angel investor living in the San Francisco Bay area. Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Butler University and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. Rick is married to Ana Maria, and they are raising their four boys in the Christian faith. Rick and his family have visited Guatemala City, where they saw Transforming Futures’ work in action. Through those visits, his passion for helping children in Guatemala has grown.

Vocal 1, John Berry

John Berry is a proud Catholic who has been married for over 29 years to Kelly Berry. They have six children, including a daughter who is from Guatemala. John has served on several boards and has owned his own business for more than three decades. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Lake Superior State University. John is very passionate and blessed to serve the children of Guatemala.

Vocal 2, Brian Panosian

Brian has been employed at Cisco Systems for over 15 years and has years of experience building teams and developing strategic sales plans in health care and technology. Before joining Transforming Futures, Brian served for over 20 years in his community of Smyrna, Georgia, by running a Sunday school program college students and recent graduates and coaching youth sports. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication arts from Georgia Southern University. Brian has served on the board for a local private club and been a consultant advisor at various companies, including Georgia Southern University’s School of Communications. Brian has been married to his wife Lea for 33 years, and they have four children.

Vocal 3, Don Wenner

Don Wenner is the Founder & CEO of DLP Capital, a private real estate investment and financial services company focused on making an IMPACT by acquiring, developing, and building relationships, housing, leaders, and organizations. DLP’s purpose is Dream. Live. Prosper: passionately creating prosperity and making an impact by investing in communities. DLP Capital has an expansive array of business divisions and companies, including lending, investment funds, sales, leasing, property management, construction management, development, and loan servicing. Don is highly experienced in all facets of housing as well as in scaling high-growth entrepreneurial companies through the utilization of the DLP Elite Execution System, for which DLP Capital has been ranked in the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies in the U.S. for a remarkable 11 consecutive years. Since DLP Capital’s founding in 2006, Don has closed more than 30,000 real estate transactions totaling more than $10 billion. He has built a successful track record of generating consistent profits in all market conditions and cycles.

DLP Representative, Danny Sells

Danny Sells is the Executive Director of the DLP Positive Returns Foundation, a non-profit faith-based philanthropic foundation affiliated with DLP Capital, a private real estate investment firm focused on passionately making an extraordinary impact by transforming lives and building thriving communities. On behalf of the foundation, Danny spearheads strategic initiatives, both in the US and internationally, that address immediate relief and long term developmental needs of vulnerable populations such as unhoused families and young, at-risk children. Danny brings to bear more than two decades of experience in faith-based mobilization, especially driving programs aimed at supporting families challenged to provide safe, caring environments for children. Danny holds a BA in psychology from Milligan College, TN, with additional studies toward a Master of Science in Social Work and a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies, and he resides in St. Augustine, FL.
