With the new year comes more good news: We’re supporting another Feeding Center in Guatemala! Located in a small town outside of Guatemala City, the Feeding Center provides meals to twenty children every day.
We’ve partnered with Claudia Roncal, a nonprofit employee who has worked in the community for years and is passionate about creating opportunities for Guatemalan children.
“When Pablo and Transforming Futures came to me with the idea of sharing food here, I immediately said ‘yes’ because I know how much these kids need it,” She says.
Before the Feeding Center opened, many of the kids weren’t getting three meals a day. They also weren’t regularly eating fruit and vegetables. But Claudia is committed to making sure every child has a healthy diet.
“I’m so thankful to Transforming Futures for taking care of this deep need in my community,” She says.
